The Department of Business Administration has been established in the year 2004. The course is accredited by National Board of Accreditation. Within a very short period has developed itself in to a centre of excellence, offering MBA in three streams namely, Marketing, Human Resource and Finance. It is a two years full time course.

The curriculum is designed to accommodate latest corporate developments of relevance. The Board of Studies which comprises of seasoned academicians, qualified experts from the industry and senior faculty members ensures the right mix of content in the curriculum.
Emphasis on Case Study Methodology in Teaching.
Students are exposed to the case- study methodology, wherever possible. Carefully chosen cases are given to students for analysis and discussions in class. This method promotes a creative, collaborative and critical learning atmosphere that encourages personal reflections, learning and synthesis of ideas.
Reading Resources
Well-equipped exclusive library with more than 2000 books and international journals including Harvard business Review, Mckinsey Quarterly, etc are available for an active student-learning environment. Besides these, the students have an exclusive access to database that consists of over 1000 management journals, on different subjects. This enhances the student’s research potential and keeps them updated with the developments in the real business world.
Computing Facilities
A dedicated computer lab for the Department of Business Administration is available with Internet access. Various software like SPSS, Oracle, Data mining software, etc offer opportunities to test real time business data. Besides this the students also have access to the central computing facility.
Experienced Faculty
A well experienced three- tier faculty comprising of the Core faculty, Associate faculty and the visiting faculty forms the intellectual capital of the Department of Business Administration. Some faculty members have a wide international experience that adds variety to the teaching mechanisms.
Programme Design and Assessment
The MBA programme is structured and updated to include the contemporary changes in the business environment. With a reasonable emphasis on case study methodology the programme is spread over 6 terms stretching over a two year period that comprises of 95 credits of course work and summer project. The students are offered dual specialization in the areas of Human Resources Management, Marketing and Finance. For example ,a student can graduate with dual major in Finance and Marketing or whatever combination that is desired.
At the end of third trimester, the student is expected to complete a mini project of 8 weeks’ duration, which is in the form of a case study on any identifiable day to day problem that has a managerial solution. In the last trimester the student are exposed to the business world by project (Dissertation) that is usually problem based.
